Quite good food but bad service ruined our experience. We hadn't booked but still accepted in to a table. Given 2 drinks and then left for an hour before any food order taken. Watched other tables getting starters and mains. No matter how good a place is I don't like being treated like a second class customer. A simple early offer of starter or nibbles would have gone a long way.

Stopped by after a walk on a busy Christmas Eve lunch time for a hot drink and light bite. Even though it was clear they were very busy, and we hadn't booked, we were welcomed in and offered comfy seats in the lounge. We ordered food and drinks and it was served promptly. Very fresh and delicious flavours! Something brilliantly different to my palette at this time of year :-) we'll be back to sample the full menu in the new year!

I find this place above good. The food is great, yet not pretentious and staff are fantastic. They may not know the best wine but their attention to customer service is the best. All staff went above their level of service to give you a fantastic dinning experience. They were attentive and polite. The venue is great for children, hosting a brilliant facility of a huge games/play room between courses. The view of the harbour is a bonus. The menu is average but all cooked to perfection.
